20/9/2011- RMG – The Salesian School in Europe
(ANS – Rome) – Between 14 and 16 September at the Generalate there was a meeting of the Commission for the Salesian School in Europe, organised by the Youth Ministry Department of the Salesians (SDB) and the Area of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA). Present at the meeting were the respective General Councillors Fr Fabio Attard and Sr Maria del Carmen Canales Calzadilla and other consultants in the sector, from countries in which the SDB and FMA are present with schools and centres of vocational training, 24 people in all.
8/9/2011- Poland – The Team Visit to the East Sector of the North Europe Region concludes
(ANS – Krakow) – Between 3 and 7 September at the theological studentate in Krakow the Team Visit to the East Sector of the North Europe Region took place. The meeting at which Fr Pascual Chávez, the Rector Major, presided was an opportunity to assess how the various Provinces have been following up the suggestions of the 26th General Chapter.
8/8/2011- France – Team Visit for the Western Europe Region
(ANS – Lyons) – Yesterday, 7 August, in the city of Lyons, there began the Team Visit for the Western Europe Region, which consists of the Provinces of Portugal, France and Spain. The principal themes of the meeting, which ends on 11 August, are the new arrangement of the Provinces and Project Europe.
4/8/2011- Spain – Project Europe Commission: light and shade along the way
(ANS – Santiago de Compostela) – The 5th meeting of the Commission for Project Europe took place from 31 July to 2 August at Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Topics on the agenda were new evangelisation, migration and difficulties so far encountered on the journey.

(ANS – Rome) – Today we conclude the report by the Agenzia iNfo Salesiana, on summer activities organised by Salesians involving thousands of generous people in Europe consecrated and lay, by looking at the Italy-Middle East Region.

(ANS – Rome) – The ANS coverage of the Salesians in Europe providing summer breaks for thousands of children and young people continues looking at the Provinces in the West Europe Region.
21/7/2011- RMG – Salesians in Europe: holidays … in North Europe
(ANS – Rome) – The second window which the Agenzia iNfo Salesiana (ANS) opens on the work of the Salesians in Europe in the summer months is devoted to the 15 Provinces making up the North Europe Region.
18/7/2011- Slovakia – The Ist International Salesian Media Festival
(ANS – Žilina) – Between 7 and 10 July in the Salesian house in Žilina, Slovakia, there was the first “MeStival – International Media Festival”. The event brought to a conclusion the first bi-annual cycle of the “Media School,” and edu-communication project planned and organised by the Salesian Family in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. During the weekend the jury of experts studied and enjoyed the work of the young authors from Salesian centres in the two countries.
18/7/2011- RMG – Salesians in Europe: holidays… on voluntary service
(ANS – Rome) – Starting today the Agenzia iNfo Salesiana (ANS) will be devoting a series of short articles to the work the Salesians in Europe are doing during the summer to make the best use of the school holidays. Young people are being invited to turn their free time into time for service, learning and development. The first of these deals with the experience of voluntary service being offered by Salesians in Italy.
26/5/2011- Poland – Festival of Youth without Frontiers
(ANS – Różanystok) – Between 17 and 21 May at Różanystok, in the Poland-Warsaw Province (PLE), there was the second in the series of the “Festival of Youth without Frontiers”. It was an opportunity for young people from different countries to meet together and get to know cultures and traditions from far away places. The Embassies of Colombia, Perù and Venezuela were the Honorary Patrons of the Festival.
