4/6/2012- Poland – PE: Formation for formation personnel is the response of Bishop dal Covolo
(ANS – Krakow) – On the occasion of his trip, first to Slovakia and then to Poland, Salesian Bishop Enrico dal Covolo, Rector Magnificus of the Lateran Pontifical University, gave an interview to the Salesians in the Southern Polish Province. Below are some of his reflections on the subject of the Project for Europe.

So that the situation of young people in Portugal can be better understood we are publishing a report of an enquiry conducted in 2010.
16/5/2012- Spain – Meeting of European Provincial Delegates for Formation
(ANS – Barcellona) – From May 9 -12, the house of Martí Codolar in Barcelona welcomed the Provincial Delegates for Formation from the three European Regions. The participants discussed the processes of formation in relation to four principal themes: the Salesian vocation in its various forms; Project Europe; emotions and chastity; intellectual life.
8/5/2012- Portugal – The Project for Europe a project of commitment to gospel-style prophecy
(ANS – Lisbon) – The second meeting of correspondents for the Project for Europe held in Lisbon between 4 and 6 May was an opportunity to carry out a short but careful examination of how the Salesian Congregation is engaged in giving a new impetus to the charism in the Old Continent. Nineteen Provinces were represented and a variety of perceptions, approaches and initiatives in evidence.
3/5/2012- Slovak Republic - A look at today’s youth from Slovakia
There are 2 201 798 people under 30 years living in Slovakia. Young people represent 40,68% of the total population. Slovakia, unlike other European Union countries, does not face the lack of young people, yet.
3/5/2012- RMG – PE: the Slovakian situation
(ANS – Rome) – With the analysis of the situation in Slovakia the enquiry of the Salesian iNfo Agency into European young people adds another piece to the jigsaw. This time too the assessment of the social context is accompanied by the presentation of some useful responses proposed by the Sons of Don Bosco.
3/5/2012- Slovakia – PE: Salesian Media School
(ANS – Bratislava) – Children and young people are influenced by the media without them having the ability to criticize the things that are surrounding them. As a reaction to this Media School has been created. This Slovak-Czech project of the Salesian family offers informal education focused on media, especially for young people.
3/5/2012- Slovakia – PE: Summer camps
(ANS – Bratislava) – In the Salesian centres, there were 90 summer camps where 1 600 animators helped to make the summer more exciting for 6000 children last year. 35 animators helped to organize mission camps in Slovakia and abroad in which a lot of children took part. A number of new experiences, nice moments and better relationships are uncalculable.
3/4/2012- France – PE: Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians together on the mission
(ANS – Wittenheim) – For the last seven years Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians have conducted a week’s mission, going into a school and spending various times with the young people and adults. This year the mission was held at Wittenheim, in Alsace, on the theme: “Let’s learn to put colour into our lives!”

Nowadays people talk about a crisis. But they have been doing so for over forty years. A crisis which persists is not a crisis but a change. The picture presented by Fr Jean-Marie Petitclerc requires something to be done immediately.
