(ANS – Madrid) – Fourth tutoring programme run by the Pinardi Federation in collaboration with the BLC Group, got under way these days. It is looking at various ways of improving its formation: amongst these, for example, more time given to group work and content belonging to processes of selection and professional development of participants.

The programme helps young people to fit into work and society. It is achieved by coaching for business, based on acquiring skills; it is a business model that seeks to gain better use of work skills on the part of vulnerable youngsters in society.

There are more and more professional people in the Human Resources sector who are involved in this initiative: this time around, 14 coaches working with the “Personas y Empresas” (People and Businesses) Foundation are helping out as volunteers, accomapnying the process of individual and social growth of young people who are with the various social platforms run by Pinardi.

The involvement and experience of professionals from the BLC Group, added to the Pinardi Federations professional team's educational relationship with and personal knowledge of each of the youngsters is a very effective tandem effort generating a growth process which in almost every case leads to successful insertion into the working world.

This involves preparation for selection processes which in today's contest are more and more aligned to knowing the skills of candidates. Young people in the programme find themselves insecure, faced with this; so the current effort is to improve the programme to obtain better results. Thanks to “interviewers”, the pupils in the course undergo real-life work interview situations; these are recorded then analysed at an individual level to develop the necessary skills for passing selection processes successfully.

It is through this kind of activity that the Pinardi Federation of Social Platforms continues its efforts to provide all-round programs for youth employment for young people who find it difficult to find work; it is a programme amongst others that have been developed in the various Platforms, and it aims at adapting processes and experiences of apprenticeship for today's labour market and its needs. This way they renew their “commitment to solidarity in diversity”, as coach José Luis Rodríguez López, Member and Director of BLC “Coaching&Mentoring” puts it.

Currently the Pinardi Federation's platforms have around 40 projects running for 2000 beneficiaries, from promoting quality of children's lives, to helping young people fit into work, to supporting migrants through family mediation, and community projects preparing for and raising awareness of volunteer activity.
