Buenos Aires, Argentina - September 2015. The Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime took part in the National Youth Meeting from 4 to 6 September. There were about 7000 participants from 131 Salesian centres in Argentina.

Asuncion, Paraguay - September 2015. On 18 and 19 September, the Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime met Salesians, young people and members of the Salesian Family in Paraguay.

Manaus, Brazil - September 2015. The Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime paid a visit to the Province of Manaus from 14 to 17 September. He met Salesians, lay people, students and various groups of the Salesian Family.

Kolkata, India - September 2015. The Rector Major Fr Ángel Fernández Artime paid a visit to the Salesian Province of Calcutta from 26 to 28 September. He took part in many significant events for the closure of the Bicentenary of Don Bosco in India.

Lima, Peru - September 2015. A Meeting of the Delegates for Social Communication in the Inter-America Region took place from 12 to 15 September. It was attended by delegates both Salesian and lay, and led by Fr Filiberto González, General Councillor for Social Communication.

Turin, Italy - September 2015. The 146th Salesian Missionary Expedition left from Turin on 27 September. Twenty-three Salesians set out to witness to the Gospel, as missionaries in the style of Don Bosco. Fr Francesco Cereda, Vicar of the Rector Major, and Fr Guillermo Basañes, General Councillor for the Missions, were present at the ceremony.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - September 2015. A Congress of Salesian Cooperators took place from 9 to 13 September, the first ever such Congress to be held in Africa. There were thirty-three representatives from twelve provinces, two World Delegates of the Salesian Cooperators and the World Coordinator as well as Fr Américo Chaquisse, Regional Councillor of the Salesians for Africa and Madagascar.

Kathmandu, Nepal - September 2015. The Don Bosco Society started its work to support the education of children by building infrastructure and distributing the necessary materials to students.
