8/7/2010 - RMG - Choosing the logo for the Project for Europe
(ANS – Rome) – On the eve of the next meeting of the Commission for the Project for Europe, scheduled for 16-18 July at Czestochowa the Social Communication Department is seeking opinions about the proposals sent in for this important process which the Salesian Congregation officially launched in 2009.

At the end of March the Department appealed to Salesian creativity in the production of a logo for the Project for Europe. Some suggestions have arrived in the ANS Offices which will now be considered by the Commission and a choice made. Among those submitted are some from pupils at the Salesian School in Chertsey who at the suggestion of Fr Andrew Ebrahim, have sent in their ideas.

It is possible to see the contributions submitted by going to the appropriate section opened on Agorà on the site. To express one’s own preference before Thursday 15 July just log in on the site, where it is possible to vote for one of the proposals. The results of the sample survey will be taken to Czestochowa and will assist the members of the Commission in selecting their short list. It will then be up to the Rector  Major and his Council to make the final choice.
