(ANS – Huesca) – In the context of the activities of the MAIN Federation (which  brings together Aragon youth centres- over sixty leaders from various youth centres in the autonomous region of Aragon took part in a training weekend which was held as part of the annual meeting of the supervisors,  at the “Saint Bernard” Salesian school in Huesca, on 12-13 November.

Taking part were leaders from Barasona,  a free-time  association of the “Dominic Savio” Salesian Institute in Monzón, two youth centres in Saragozza, the “Juan Bosco” Association in the San José district,  the “Meeting Friends” Youth Association “ and the hosting centre in Huesca, the “Friends’ Club” youth centre.

For many leaders this was the first time they had met other colleagues and so the weekend began with ”ice-breakers” to build up trust and confidence before the group work.

Fr José Luis Navarro gave a talk linking the activities of the MAIN Federation with the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), explaining to the young people how from a youth centre they could become part of Salesian youth spirituality.

Afterwards the President of the Don Bosco Confederation, Ángel Gudiña, spoke about the possibilities offered by Europe in the context of getting together and described in this regard the Don Bosco Youth Network (DBYN) and the possibility of European  voluntary service.
