France – Team Visit for the Western Europe Region |
Germany – Young people in Northern Europe and the charism of Don Bosco |
Chile – We want to continue our mission of evangelisation |
There are five Provinces represented at the Team Visit which began yesterday afternoon at Aschau–Waldwinkel: Germany (GER), Austria (AUS), Belgium North and Holland (BEN), Great Britain (GBR) and Ireland and Malta (IRL). With the Rector Major are his Vicar, Fr Adriano Bregolin, the General Councillors for Youth Ministry and Formation, Fr Fabio Attard and Fr Cereda, the Economer General, Br Jean Paul Müller, and the Regional Councillor for Northern Europe, Fr Marek Chrzan.
During this Visit there will also be an evaluation of the process of communicating, assimilating and putting into practice the decisions of the 26th General Chapter. Possibilities for the future development of the Provinces and the Region will be identified. Given the current situation in the ‘old continent’ and the developments in Project Europe, particular attention will be given to defining guidelines for new evangelisation in secular contexts, to the themes of fidelity and religious discipline, and to the vision of a new arrangement of the Provinces in the Region.
