Mumbai, India – August 2013 – Between the end of July and the beginning of August a training course for bakers was held. The participants were students of the Don Bosco College – Hospitality Studies of Kurla. The idea came from a meeting on the education of young Indians between the former Indian Ambassador in Germany, Ms Sujatha Singh, and the Rector of the house at Kurla, Fr Colbert da Silva. The course was given by André Houben, master bread-maker of the German Baker Association.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
