Rector Major
The Strenna is a spiritual and pastoral programme for the entire Salesian Family. It has a motto which serves as a major slogan. There is a commentary which explains what it means, and what are the tasks we are called to carry out.
There is no doubt that the video is an incomparable help as an audiovisual presentation; it can arouse the desire to read and understand the commentary so that what has been presented as a spiritual and pastoral programme can be properly understood; it makes us more aware, more convinced and more effective.

The planning for communicating the Strenna is a broad one involving many people. In choosing the poster we have for some years now involved graphic and creative artists in the Congregation and from various countries. It is a long process and directly involves the Rector Major himself. The final choice of the poster then guides graphic choices for the video.
There are contributions at various levels from the Provinces, Salesians and other Salesian Family Groups. The video is produced in Turin at the Missioni Don Bosco production centre.
