Alcalá de Henares, Spain – November 2012 – The Salesian Province of Madrid started a new formation plan for coordinators and members of the pastoral team for Salesian works on the 12th November. They moved to a formation plan structured around two years of residential and day meetings rather than the previous casual meetings and initiatives. The contents, organized into four core areas, develop various educational skills: human, professional, Christian and Salesian. The first residential meeting, held from 12th to 16th November, saw the participation of 25 lay people in charge of pastoral care in Salesian colleges, who worked on the fundamental characteristics of the Christian message, the faith education curriculum in schools, introduction to the Bible and the Salesian Youth Ministry.
