Jaboatão, Brazil – October 2012- In October, for 69 years, the Salesian Family in the city of Jaboatão organizes a procession called "Romaria", in honour of Mary Help of Christians. On the way from the parish "Nossa Senhora da Conceição Aparecida" to the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, pilgrims sang chants and prayers in honour of the Virgin. In the afternoon, concerts were held by Fr João Carlos and Fr Frei Damião and there was a Celebration of the Eucharist.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
