Szczyrk, Poland - 19th May 2012 - Fr Łukasz Krysmalski, from the Krakow province, has been ordained to the priesthood in the Marian Sanctuary of Szczyrk. Bishop Enrico dal Covolo, titular bishop of Eraclea and Rector Magnificus of the Lateran Pontifical University, presided. Among the concelebrants were Fr Marek Chrzan, Regional Councillor for Northern Europe, the Provincial Fr Dariusz Bartocha, the General Secretary of the Salesian University Fr Jarek Rochowiak, and the Custodian of the Sanctuary Fr Marek Kaczmarczyk. The congregation participated fully and festively with folk dances, instrumental groups and traditional choirs.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
