Rome, Italy - 9 July 2011 - Fr Natale Vitali, General Councillor for the America South Cone Region welcomed to the Generalate a group of 35 pilgrims from the Brazil-San Paolo Province (BSP). Led by Fr José Antenor Velho, the group, composed of Salesians, members of various groups of the Salesian Family and lay collaborators, is engaged on a 20 day pilgrimage to places of Salesian interest and some important centres of spirituality. After four days spent in Rome, on Saturday 9 the pilgrims attended Mass in the chapel of the Generalate celebrated by Fr Vitali. Afterwards Fr Francesco Cereda, Councillor for Formation, spoke to them about the three years of preparation for the Bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco, in 2015. After visiting the house and taking photographs the group continued its visit of the city. Further stops on the pilgrimage will be in Assisi, Turin and its surroundings (in Italy), Annecy, Lyons and Ars (in France).
