Bangkok, Thailand - October 2015 - During his visit to the Salesians of Thailand, Fr Václav Klement, Councillor for the East Asia-Oceania region, also met with the Daughters of the Queenship of Mary Immaculate, a Secular Institute of Diocesan right which is part of the Salesian Family. Founded in 1954 by the Servant of God Fr Carlo della Torre, SDB, the Institute now has forty-two sisters in four dioceses in the country. In 2011 a group of consecrated sisters was founded within the Secular Institute. They are the Sisters of the Queenship of Mary Immaculate.

Maputo, Mozambique - March 2016 - On 11 March Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Superior General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, arrived in Mozambique for a visit which will end on 1 April. Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
