Cumbayá, Ecuador – 16 August 2013 – On Friday 16 August, in the Temple of Lumbisí – Cumbayá, Mass was celebrated for the first profession of the Novices of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Province (ECU). They are: Luis Banegas, Edwin Cárdenas, Néstor Castillo, Lorenzo Cevallos, Vladimir García, Edisson Rubio, Fausto Siavichay and Edison Urquizo. During the same Mass, Diego Rodríguez, who had been their assistant during the year of novitiate, renewed his religious profession. The new novices, Jaime and Naín, were welcomed as they begin their religious formation in this last year of preparation for the celebration of the Bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February.
