Natal, Brazil – February 2013 – On the 14th and 15th February the 50th Fraternity Campaign 2013 got underway on the theme "Fraternity and youth". The opening of the seminar was attended by about 2000 people, included young people from the Salesian Youth Movement (MGS) in Gramoré, Natal. The Fraternity Campaign is organised by the Catholic Church in Brazil each year during the period of Lent, with the aim of sensitizing and awakening solidarity among the faithful on a theme of social importance.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
