Valencia, Spain – 15 December 2012 – On 15 December 300 young people who attend the “Entre Amics” Youth centre in Valencia carried out a Christmas solidarity campaign for needy families in the area. During the day youngsters visited homes, commercial enterprises in the area to collect food and money donations. At the end of the day they had 1230 kg of non-perishable foods and 418 euro for Caritas in the Mary Help of Christians and St Matthew Parishes, who have been working with the Youth Centre for this collection for a number of years.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
