Kielce, Poland 15 September 2011 On 15 September, in the “Herby” district of Kielce, a new Oratory was opened. an offshoot of the “Swiekokrzyskie” Salesian Oratory. The youth centre is located in the buildings of the former elementary and middle schools, after re-structuration lasting two years. The furniture and equipment were donated by the Czarny Dunajec Salesian School while the computers come from another school in Krakow. The opening ceremony which began with a concert by the “DeSalt” Group, was attended by children, young people, families and Salesians. Fr Dariusz Bartocha, Provincial of Krakow and Senator Krzysztof Sion cut the ribbon in front of various civil representatiěves, those of the diocese of Kielce, of the Local Authority Centre for Family Assistance and other guests. The day ended with various games organised by the “Klanza”, representatives of the Association of Polish Teachers and Youth Leaders.
