Honiara, Solomon Islands, May 2012 – From May 4 – 6, in the “Don Bosco Animation Centre” of Kola Ridge, a training course on visusal language was held, attended by students from the educational centres: “Don Bosco Technical Institute”, “Bishop Epalle”, “St John’s”, “St Nicholas’ School” and “St Joseph’s”. During these days, led by Fr. Ambrose Pereira, director of DBTI and by the lecturer Ms. Penny Chilton, the students were able to study the camera, the fundamentals of photography, ways of publishing and the interpretation of pictures.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
