Vatican City – 18 March 2012 - On Sunday 18 March the vigil of the solemnity of St Joseph, a patron of the Salesian Congregation and in particular of the Brothers, the Salesian Brothers from the Generalate Community had a special day visiting the Salesian community in the Vatican. Led by the Economer General, Bro Jean Paul Muller and the Rector, Fr Giuseppe Nicolussi, they were able to visit the Sistine Chapel, some other places within the Vatican Palace and the Vatican Press. The idea was to celebrate and to thank the Brothers in the Generalate community who for many years have been dedicated to the service of the Rector Major, and to provide an occasion for relaxation and a fraternal gathering. During parts of the day Cardinal Raffaele Farina, Archivist and Librarian of the Holy Roman Church was also present. |
