Barcelona, Spain - 15 March 2010 - Saturday 13 March at the Martí Codolar house saw the conclusion of the Barcelona Provincial Chapter which includes the autonomous areas of Catalogna, Huesca, the State of Andorra and a community on the island of Minorca. 50 Salesians and 25 lay people took part. During the Chapter in addition to discussions on the proposed Provincial Structural Plan , the point was made of the need to renew the apostolic passion of Don Bosco, and the Christian and Salesian formation of the lay people involved in educative-pastoral work. At the end of the session the Programme for the next three years, in view of facilitating the process of the restructuration of the Provinces of Spain and Portugal was approved. The address by the Provincial Fr Ángel Asurmendi brought the Chapter to a close.
