St Ignatius, Argentina ­- 5 February 2010 ­- Between 3 and 5 February a hundred young people from the SYM were at Junín de los Andes to celebrate the birth of the new Salesian Province of South Argentina (ARS). During the three days, they took part in times of prayer and discussions about the Plan of Life. The retreat ended on 5 February with a visit to the tomb of Blessed Ceferino Namuncurá. At the final Mass, Fr Natale Vitali, Councillor for the America South Cone Region, with the new Provincial of South Argentina, Fr Angel Fernandez Artime, helped the young people to understand God`s plan for Ceferino and also that for each one of them.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
