Bari, Italy - February 2016 - The Don Bosco library of the Salesian Community of the Redeemer in Bari in the Southern Province (IME) was reopened to the public on 1 February. The library contains more than 40,000 books and texts that have finally been made available again for the enjoyment of the citizens. Speakers at the inauguration included Fr Pasquale Cristiani, Provincial IME, the Mayor of Bari, Antonio Decaro, the Councillor for educational and youth policy and labour policy, Paola Romano, Fr Francesco Preite, Rector of the Redeemer Community, and Fr Giuseppe Ruppi, who is in charge of the Workshop "Don Bosco today."
