Wrocław, Poland - September 2015 - On 2 September Fr Tadeusz Rozmus, Councillor for the Central and North Europe Region, began the Extraordinary Visitation to the Province of Wroclaw on behalf of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime. He was warmly welcomed by those present at the first meeting, the Rectors and Salesian Parish Priests. In the opening conference Fr Rozmus stressed that the extraordinary visit is a time of thanksgiving for the beauty of the Salesian charism embodied in the province, and also a favourable occasion to reflect together on the challenges of today and seek appropriate forms of Salesian educational and pastoral action. This visit is taking place in the context of the Year of the Bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco and of the Year of Mercy announced by Pope Francis.
