Cambé, Brazil - July 2015 – On 1 July last the Institute of Mary Help of Christians at Cambé held this year’s "Art Show - Vernissage", dedicated to the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco. It included thirty-six paintings inspired by photographs of Don Bosco, as well as drawings and copies made by younger students; representations of the dreams of Don Bosco on coloured glass; sculptures in wire and newspaper on "Don Bosco the acrobat"; poems and cartoons on the life of the Saint of Youth; photographs of "the Salesian environment" and works on the Preventive System in the Art Nouveau style.

Maputo, Mozambique - March 2016 - On 11 March Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Superior General of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, arrived in Mozambique for a visit which will end on 1 April. Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
