Torre Annunziata, Italy – 9 July 2015 - Torre Annunziata was the centre chosen by the Province of Southern Italy for the main summer gathering of young people from the Oratories of Campania. About 900 young people attended the event. Among the most significant moments were the parade from the Basilica to the Salesian oratory; the testimony of the Mayor; the competition for "Hymns for the Bicentenary"; and the game of "candles" to celebrate the birthday of Don Bosco.

Macas, Ecuador - February 2016 - A meeting of the National Council of the Salesian Youth Movement was held from 26 to 28 February. The aim of the meeting was to review and continue planning for 2016 and plan for the next National SYM Congress which will take place in August.
