Fatima, Portugal - May 2015 - Hundreds of young members of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) have lit up the streets of Fatima in bright colours for the National Day of the Salesian Youth Movement, as part of the celebrations for the Bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco, on 16 and 17 May, Among the activities: a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Fatima together with members of the Salesian Family; a spectacle of art and faith titled "Boscorail", a mass presided by Msgr. Joaquim Mendes, SDB (the auxiliary bishop of Lisbon) with the animative presence of Fr Stefano Martoglio sdb (General Councillor for the Mediterranean Region) and of Sister Paola Battagliola FMA (the Extraordinary Visitor from the FMA General council). One of the highlights of the day was the meeting with Fr Martoglio, who stressed upon the importance of living the Bicentenary as "a year of grace to imitate the holiness of Don Bosco".
