Sydney, Australia - February 2015 - On 13 February the Salesian community of Engadine, Sydney, celebrated the opening of the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco with a solemn Mass presided over by the Archbishop of Sydney, Archbishop Anthony Fisher, OP. The event was attended by about 2000 students of the local Salesian schools,as well as teachers, family members and parishioners, and the Salesian and FMA communities. After Mass there was a show that presented key moments in the life of Don Bosco, a choral concert and a band performance of a new hymn to Don Bosco.
