Nairobi, Kenya - July 2014 - On 27 July, the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, Don Bosco Upper Hill, marked twenty years of service to the Christian people of Kenya. The solemn Mass was celebrated by Bishop Dominic Kimengich, Bishop of Lodwar. The bishop thanked the devotees of the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians for their generous contributions to the areas affected by the famine. He thanked the Salesians for their presence in the Kakuma refugee camp, working in the parish and the technical school. The Mass was concelebrated by twenty priests, Salesians and others, and 200 children received their First Holy Communion.
