Girardot, Colombia - June 19, 2014 - The Closing of the diocesan inquiry which began last June 7 2011, related to the process of beatification and canonization of the Servant of God Ana María Lozano Díaz, co-founder with the Blessed Variara of the Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Present at the episcopal curia of Girardot-Cundinamarca, were Mgr Héctor Julio López Hurtado, SDB, Bishop, Mother Eulalia Marín Rueda, Superior General of the Institute and Vice Postulator, Fr Donaldo Aldana, Episcopal Delegate, Fr Carlos García, promoter of justice, and Ms. Myriam Herrera de Leal, Notary, along with other nuns.
All the documents collected in this diocesan phase were presented in this final session. Later they will be brought to Rome at the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, which will then launch the Roman phase of the process.
