(ANS – Madrid) – On Friday, February 22nd more than 135 beneficiaries and 45 teachers of professional training programmes of social platforms participated in the forum "To share to educate" organized at the Salesian Centre in Carabanchel, Madrid. The event, which this year has reached its fourth edition, is intended as a space for discussion among educators and youth, in which they share life experiences and the numerous cases of success and personal growth.
The meeting which aims to strengthen the work throughout the year is achieved through social platforms, i.e. forming those young people who have not obtained official titles because their achievement of professional qualifications allows their entry into employment. This work is then completed by a methodology aimed at fostering human growth and personal development of adolescents and young people through the promotion of values such as commitment, perseverance and going beyond ones limits.
The forum, which stresses the importance of these values for full inclusion in society, is structured through conducting various workshops that have combined the experience of various experts. So, young people were involved in the laboratory on radio, conducted by Mar Llerena and the Radio Temptation team; they developed the creativity in the service of literature, in meeting with the writer David Lozano; experienced theatrical improvisation together with Manuel Castano of "Lègolas Theatre"; they danced in the dance workshop of Susana Romero and punctuated the rhythm during percussion of Paloma Bravo; they learned various tricks by Carlos Hernández, thanks to his performances of magic; they talked about music and their dreams with Roy Miranda; have rediscovered the importance of sport with Joe Arlaucas and Jorge Franco, of the Fundación Real Madrid and have known the "behind the scenes" of the world of television series with Felipe Mellizo of Globomedia.
The forum ended with a samba performance by Paloma Galán; even some of the heads of various workshops, such as Susana Romero, Carlos Hernandez and Roy Miranda, also wanted to give a sample of their animating skills of dance performances, magic and music.
