(ANS – Rome) – With the new academic year 2012-2013, a new curriculum, ‘Master’s Degree in Social Communication with specialization in Pastoral Communication’ will begin in the Faculty of the Sciences of Social Communication of the Salesian Pontifical University, Rome.
In fact, between June and September, the first group to apply will conclude their cycle for the Bachelor’s Degree in the specialization of Pastoral Communication – a necessary requirement to continue the Master’s in the same specialization.
This new Master’s Degree curriculum is particularly for priests and religious who have already completed courses in philosophy and theology. They will be able to acquire in just one year a title in the Bachelor’s Degree, and in three combined years a Master’s in Pastoral Communication.
The complete academic profile of the Faculty offers a Bachelor in the Sciences of Social Communication, a Master’s in the Sciences of Social Communication (with three specializations: theory and research; journalism and publishing and community media) and a Doctorate in the Sciences of Social Communication that is divided into four areas of research: the church and communication, youth and popular media culture, international and intercultural communication, new technologies and communication.
The future of communication is the future of all.
