(ANS – Madrid) – A group of young  religious, belonging to various Congregations, in different parts of Spain have launched a project to encourage people through the internet to spend Lent well. With a thought each day and comments and responses at the end of the day it is aimed at helping young people prepare for Easter.

The religious on Twenty and Facebook, addressing the young especially say: “We would like to spend a few minutes with you each evening to end the day rather ‘differently’, with a short reflection, a video, a song ... something that can help on the way each day to Easter... There are seven of us young people from religious Congregations and each day one of us will give the day a different imprint on the way Easter. A different sort of “Good Night.””

On Monday it will be the turn of Sr Marina Utrilla, a religious of the Sacred Hearts; on Tuesday  Fr Guzmán Pérez, a Salesian; Wednesday Sr Olalla González, a Mary Immaculate religious; Thursday  Bro Vicente Niño, a Dominican; Friday Sr Alba Rodríguez, of the Carmelite Servants of the Holy Family; Saturday  Fr Daniel Cuesta, a Jesuit; Sunday Fr Manuel Ogalla, a Claretian missionary.

Each day throughout Lent on the more widespread socials networks (Facebook, Twenty, Twitter) they will leave a “digital mark”, a “trace”, a suggestion for each of the 40 days during the liturgical season of Lent in preparation for Easter. As they say themselves the aim is to help young people “live and enjoy thes days on a deep level on the way to Easter, to Life."
