Brazil – Educational Formation: ready to educate in network |
The Rector of the Institute considers this result “good news,” with a very positive assessment, which confirms the seriousness of the efforts made by Institutes of Higher Education (IIS) for the formation of future graduates in philosophy in the north east of the country.
According to Fr Robson Barros da Costa, Director General of INSAF, the result is recognition by the authorities of INEP (the National Institute of Studies and Educational Research) and by the Ministry of Education of the serious and devoted work of the teachers and of the others working in the school. “This successful assessment is the fruit of the work of the professionals in the INSAF and the support of the Salesian Superior in the Brazil-Recife Province.”
“The ‘4’ places the INSAF, in relation to other Institutes, among the best in the State of Pernambuco. Certainly in addition, it makes INSAF one of the best among the Institutes of the Salesian Network of Higher Education. I thank the Salesians, the staff, the personnel and the students foir the successful result” the Rector said.
The assessment was carried out between 16 and 18 May by a commission from the Ministry of Education. This process has become the norm for the Ministry since 2004. The Assessment Commission was made up of Professors Sérgio Botelho Guimarães, from the Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), Antonio Carlos de Araujo and Decio dos Santos Pinto Júnior, from the Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
