(ANS – Rome) – Today, 22 December, is the official opening of the YouTube channel “VeniteeVedrete2011”, a window onto the vocation histories of various members of the Salesian Family, a testimony to the many people who today are committed to living Don Bosco’s motto: “da mihi animas”.

Begun in the middle of November with an invitation addressed to the Social Communication teams of the various Provinces and to the  collaborators of the ANS Press Office, the project of the “VeniteeVedrete2011” channel  immediately received a positive response. In just 5 weeks over  30 videos have been sent in, revealing the various sensitivities and the particular personal life histories which led different people to share the same charism.

From today all these videos are available,  in the original languages, in the new channel on YouTube and also on the specifically dedicated page of sdb.org.

To put into practice the suggestions of the Rector Major’s Strenna for 2011, on the need for vocation ministry  and to give  a clear witness,   “VeniteeVedrete2011” will  continue to accept and display the vocational videos which arrive in the ANS Office.
