(ANS – Tura) – Don Bosco College of Teacher Education Tura is an Institute with a relevant Motto “In Search of Excellence”. The Institute since its inception in 2005 has given its best to train not only excellent Educators but mould them to be good citizens of integrity.

The Institute is surging ahead year after year not only winning laurels in terms of results but touching lives who cherish their memories while basking in the unique and beautiful infrastructure, bedecked with lovely surroundings with lush green trees, and supported at the back by mighty Tura Peak. Above all, it is the healthy Teacher-Students rapport and the sincere hard work that results in heart throbbing outcome at the end of the Session.  

2015 has been phenomenal pertaining to just recently declared B.Ed Result. Out of the 102 students who appeared for the final B.Ed examinations from Don Bosco College of Teacher Education (DBCTE), eighty-six secured First Divisions and fourteen Second Divisions with a record sixty-one Distinctions.

The College has bagged the top five positions in North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. The Second Rank by Ribeiro Jonathan Manuel, Sixth Rank by Nitu Ojha, Seventh Rank is shared by Ruthy Lalmuankimi and Victoria B. Nongsiej and Ninth Rank by Antara Dey.

It is amazing to note that twenty one students of the college secured an aggregate 70% and above. The Management congratulates all achievers and teachers of DBCTE for their splendid performance.

Fr. PD Johnny SDB, the college principal, congratulated the successful students and praised them for their hard work and commitment to their studies. “It is indeed happy news for Don Bosco College, Tura and the entire college management. Their success is an encouragement for others to perform better,” Fr. Johnny said.
