(ANS – Milan) – Less than 50 days before the start of EXPO Milano 2015, preparations are underway. The experimental list of 140 young people who will be on hand to offer assistance at EXPO has been published, and it has been announced that tickets are available at a reduced price to members of the Salesian Family.

There are two community service projects linked to the theme "Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life", promoted by a network of organizations and institutions of civil society. Their main work will be in communication, supporting activities and welcoming visitors.

"Expo 2015: civil society participation and active citizenship", will employ fifty young people in the Civil Society Pavilions: Cascina Triulza, Caritas Internationalis and Casa Don Bosco.  The second project, "Expo 2015 and the participation of the countries in thematic clusters", will employ ninety young people in the nine clusters of Expo 2015, where there are exhibition spaces for countries that have common agricultural or geographical interests.

Anyone who wants to see the list or to download application forms should go to the website of the National Office of the Civil Service.

News has also come that several small agricultural enterprises from Asti, that would not have the resources on their own to participate in the Expo, will be helped to do so by being hosted at Casa Don Bosco. These are businesses that over the years have shown that they adhere to 'the entire educational method of the Saint, bringing their knowledge of cultivation, as well as a sense of altruism, solidarity and support for those less fortunate. It should also be noted that members of the Salesian Family can get tickets at a reduced price.

There are tickets with an open date and no name. They cost €18 and are valid for one day of your choice from 2 May to 31 October 2015, and can be bought by applying to ticket@expodonbosco2015.org.  Before the visit this ticket must be exchanged on the website www.expo2015.org for a ticket with the date chosen.

Children under three go free. Children between four and thirteen can purchase a ticket for €14, by writing to  ticket@expodonbosco2015.org.

For schools and vocational institutions further reductions are planned. In this case, tickets must be purchased directly on the site www.expo2015.org.
