(ANS - Arcozelo) – The Portuguese  Delegation of Salesian Youth Ministry organized the Clip Don Bosco festival for the second year. This is a short film competition for young people aged between 14 and 30.

The aim of the competition is to stimulate real involvement of young people.  Nowadays this means giving witness to Christ in the so-called "digital continent" (as defined in the Message of Pope Benedict XVI for the World Day of Social Communications 2009). The festival also aims to encourage the sharing of Salesian values and to train young people in the proper use of the means of social communication.

In 2014, the theme for the festival was Sementes de Alegria (Seeds of Joy). This is in keeping with the guiding theme for the activities of Salesian schools this year: "Be Happy - Now and for eternity."  To assist young people in developing the theme, various documentshave been made available on the website of the National Salesian Youth Ministry Delegation.
