(ANS – Niterói) – World Youth Day at Rio de Janeiro is drawing near and last minute preparations are being intensified. Among the various teams at work, there is also the communication team which will ensure an adequate coverage of all Salesian Youth Movement events and others.

Those who remain at home will be able to follow the events of WYD as they happen, as well as the various meetings planned by the Salesian Youth Movement, thanks to the cooperation between the various communication agencies of the Congregation. The Communication and Marketing team, led by Salesian Brother Cledson Martas Rodrigues and Salesian Sister Nádia Caetano dos Santos, FMA, will coordinate the various communication agencies present at Rio de Janeiro: the Salesian Bulletins of Brazil, Central America, Argentina, Venezuela; agencies like Missioni Don Bosco from  Turin, Canção Nova, Radio FM Dom Bosco from Fortaleza, Radio Educativa Salesiana “Padre Cícero” from Juazeiro do Norte; the Communications and Social Work team from Gramoré, Natal, and, obviously also the ANS.

Journalists, photographers, video operators, will all be there, ready to capture the emotions of the moment and relay them on their respective channels. The website created for this event – www.mjs.org.br– as well as that of the Salesian Bulletin (www.boletimsalesiano.org.br) will transmit by direct streaming the SYM Feast and Vigil with the Rector Major and the Mother General on 24 July from 14.00 to 23.00 local time.
