(ANS – Somalo) – A group of young people, Salesians and families experienced Easter 2013 at Somalo, in the autonomous community of La Rioja, quite differently (regarding their faith, as we see in the Spanish play on words with “diFErente” where FE refers to faith). More than a 100 took part, celebrating Easter with their families.

The typical celebrations for the Easter Triduum were complemented with other opportunities for formation, sharing and fellowshop.

Each day of the Triduum was characterized by a slogan, a place and different activities, something that helped those taking part to strengthen their own commitment to faith:

• Holy thursday, “a different day”, was at Somalo;
• Good Friday, “a different God” was spent on the road going to meet him;
• Holy Saturday began at the monastery at Iranzu, in Navarre, as a desert experience; then to Somalo again to prepare to celebrate the Vigil for “a different life”.

Easter this year saw the participation of young people and families from various parts of Bilbao Province, along with young people from Madrid and Alicante and with members of the community opened at Fuenlabrada in Madrid.
