(ANS – Madrid) – The Salesian Publishing House  Edebé, in Barcelona, continues to take an interest in new  technologies and is adapting its books for children to iPad and iPhone. The first two applications are dedicated to two of its characters Vito and Tupi, created for the teaching of the youngest children 3 and upwards, and can be downloaded at APP Store.

The  Vito application is based on a book by Anna Canyelles and the entertaining story develops in “touch screen” mode combining images, text and audio. http://www.edebe.com/apps/vito/

The Tupi application based on “My first dictionary” by Mercè Arànega, enables children to discover new words and their meaning through the coloured screen,  again combining images, text and audio. Reading the dictionary becomes an entertaining and instructive game. It is possible to hear the words as often as you like, by just touching the screen.
