(ANS – Munich) – On 16, 17 and 18 November in Munich, Bavaria there was a meeting about Salesian youth spirituality attended by some young people, some  Salesians and some Daughters of Mary Help of Christians from Germany and Austria.
 
With the theme “For a love for life,” inspired by the Strenna for 2007 of the Rector Major, the meeting was organised through the collaboration of the four German-speaking Provinces, two of the Salesians and two of the Sisters.

Arriving in Munich on Friday afternoon those taking part created a friendly and spiritual atmosphere The central day was Saturday during which there was time for reflection on creation and mankind; starting from the first chapters of Genesis. In addition to personal reflection and discussions use was made of the typically youthful group games, drama and music. A tourist and cultural outing on Saturday evening also contributed to the full expression of Salesian spirituality among those taking part.

The meeting ended on Sunday with Mass at which Fr Josef Grünner, Provincial of the Salesians in Germany, presided.
