RMG – Reflections on the meeting of Salesian Bishops (May 2015) |
(ANS – Rome) – “These are the places where the stories and events that we all know so well were actually unfolded. It was not difficult to imagine Don Bosco in the courtyards of the Oratory, Dominic Savio still in prayer hours after the Mass, the barking of Grigio, or Mamma Margaret calling the boys for dinner...”. They are full of memories of Salesian spirit recalls Bishop Costelloe Archbishop of Perth, who participated in the Meeting of Salesian Bishops.
In an interview to ANS, the archbishop reported his personal experience during that gathering of ecclesial and Salesian life; he talks about his relationship with Mary Help of Christians and Valdocco - the cradle of Salesian charism; and finally he reflects on how to live his Salesian charism while exercising episcopal ministry and what strategies to use to place the Church among the young.
The full interview with Msgr. Costelloe is available in the SERVICE section of ANS.
