(ANS - Belo Horizonte) - During the Bicentenary Year of Don Bosco, the Salesian Province of Belo Horizonte is launching the project "Dom Bosco está aqui" (Don Bosco is here). The project has a website www.domboscoaqui.com.br which offers training material on the founder of the Salesian Family to young people, educators, members of the Salesian Family and supporters of Salesian pedagogy and Salesian education​​.

In addition to being a useful instrument of ​​Salesian formation, the site is special insofar as it looks for the cooperation of all, so that everyone who works or lives in the vast Salesian movement can participate in this project by sending photos, articles, songs and videos that refer to Don Bosco and the Salesian Family.

On the site there are photos of the places where Don Bosco was born and lived, and some songs about Don Bosco. It also includes the first chapter of the video Dom Bosco Está Aqui, an adaptation of the project on the history of Don Bosco by the Salesians of Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta. Overall, there will be four chapters in the video, which will eventually be posted on the site.

The aim of Dom Bosco Está Aqui is to show that Don Bosco is still alive in our times, through the legacy he left which is carried on by many people around the world. It also fits into the large group of activities and projects designed to celebrate, in a concrete pastoral way, the Bicentenary of the Birth of Don Bosco.
