(ANS -Tucumán)- The Don Bosco Education Centre in the city of Tucumán this year received help from the television channel Telefe for its work in the Entrepreneurial Social Responsibility programme. The project of the Don Bosco Education Centre benefited from this initiative coordinated by the office of planning and development in the Northern Argentine Province. It replicates the campaign that took place in 2012 in the city of Córdoba, in the parish of St Juan Bosco and St Dominic Savio.
Thisoutreach project will last twenty days. Participants will learn about the educative and pastoral work of the centre that meets daily nutritional needs, and provides educational and recreational activities for children, adolescents and young people.
In Argentina, theconcern for social responsibility is part of a project called "ConstruiRSE" sponsored by the Office of Planning and Development of the Salesian Province of Argentina North. The involvement of a business and entertainment group is necessary to accompany and support these initiatives.
Many works in the Salesian Province of Northern Argentina have benefited from the ConstruiRSE project. It acts as a bridge to combine the efforts of the Salesians and those of private organizations and businesses to promote equality, the defence of the rights of young people, and the development of opportunities for children, adolescents and young people in situations of social risk.
The TELEFE publicity can be seen on the construiIRSE website.
