(ANS – Rome)– The Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, tenth successor of Don Bosco will be present at the Fourth Forum of the Salesian Youth Movement in Central Italy. It starts today, 25 April, on the theme A stone's throw from heaven. Approximately 1800 young people, volunteers and families, will participate in the event.                                                        

After a reception at Don Bosco Cinecitta, the SYM FORUM will start officially in the Basilica with a teaching on holiness by Fr Andrea Bozzolo. In the evening the post-novices from Nave will present a show entitled The Business of the Saints. The Good Night will be given by Sister Carla Castellino, General Councillor of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.

On Saturday 26 April, after a reception at Sacro Cuore in Via Marsala, Fr Fernández Artime, will meet the young people and will start the pilgrimage to the places of Don Bosco in Rome.  Various activities are planned, including games in Piazza del Popoloand a Prayer Vigil in the courtyard at Sacro Cuore led by Fr Leonardo Mancini, Provincial of the Salesians in Central Italy.

The Canonization of the two Popes will take place in St. Peter's Square on Sunday 27 April at 10.00 a.m. For those who do not attend the canonization in the Vatican, a large screen will be set up in the courtyard at Pius XI. After the canonization ceremony, there will be Mass celebrated by Fr Mancini.
