(ANS - Turin)- On 30 January the celebrations for the Feast of Don Bosco will open with solemn vespers in the cathedral of Turin at which Archbishop Nosiglia will preside. He will then lead the procession to the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians together with the Rector Major of the Salesians and many of the faithful.

On 31 January at 18.30 (Italian time) Fr Pascual Chávez, Rector Major of the Salesians, will preside at Solemn Mass in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians. During the Mass he will deliver the traditional message on behalf of Don Bosco to the Salesian Youth Movement. The text will be available on the website of the Congregation www.sdb.org.

The Mass will be televised live by satellite Telepace. On 31 January, two celebrations will be broadcast live from the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians. The Mass celebrated by Archbishop Nosiglia of Turin at 11.00 a.m. (Italian time) and the Mass celebrated by the Rector Major on live television at 18.30 (Italian time) on Telepace - SKY HD channel 515.
