(ANS – Barcelona) – On 2 February on the web page of elEconomista.es, it was announced that the Salesian University School of Sarriá (EUSS) had successfully passed the appropriate examination set by the Agency for Quality in the University System and obtained the “AUDIT” seal of quality. This indicates that the EUSS is achieving all its aims and objectives with efficiency, and can ensure that the objectives of its programmes will continue to reached.
On the site it is explained that the AUDIT seal is a guarantee that the accredited university satisfies a series of standards and guide lines – including the teaching of students, the management of material resourses, the continual improvement of the academic staff and the publication of information regarding degrees awarded.
The AUDIT Programme began in 2007 in the hands of the National Agency for the Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (ANECA), the Agency for the Quality of the University System in Galizia (ACSUG) and in Catalogna (AQU). The award also means that the standards set by the European Centre of Higher Education have been reached.
At present the Salesian Institute in Sarriá offers 4 courses in various branches of Engineering. It also offers Masters and other courses including the Masters in Management of Industrial Companies, now in its fifth year.
