(ANS – Rome) – We are approaching the celebration of Christmas: a night and a vigil which celebrates the Light proclaimed down the years, incarnate, present among us, and bringing history to its completion.

This year, as we send our greetings, we have decided to use a video produced by the young people of  BOSCOcrew in Malta. We have chosen it because it is the product of the ideas and efforts of young people in various Salesian centres,  and because it reminds us that according to the Salesian spirit, education and evangelisation are the best way to show the face of Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God made man.

All the gifts are wrapped up tight
And all the lights are twinkling bright
Among all these wondrous sights
We know this is a special night
 
And as the Christmas carols play
And as the church bells start to sway,
We’d like to take this time to say
HAVE A HAPPY CHRISTMAS DAY!
