Fr Miguel Ángel Moreno Nuño, Rector of the Salesian house welcomed them. Then Fr Francisco Ruiz, Vice Provincial gave them some suggestions regarding the future growth and development of the movement.
This was followed by work-shops in which three important new features were introduced: the new logo of the “Hogares Don Bosco”, a leaflet introducing the movement and the blog www.hdbinspectoria.blogspot.com
The role of the two secretaries within the organisation of the movement was also examined. The day ended with Mass.
The HDB began in 1965 as a idea of the Salesian Cooperators to encourage formation for marriage within the Association. Later this successful experience developed and other Christian couples became involved.
Today the “Hogares Don Bosco” movement helps Christian married couples to grow as individuals, as couples and as parents.
